Last week I had the chance to go up to the Las Vegas Temple to try and get some photos. I was racing the sun up the hill toward the Temple looking at these great clouds and what was going to be an awesome sunset. This was Monday evening so I knew there wouldn’t be any cars in the way. I got to the Temple and all of the clouds moved to the south. From the three places I really wanted to shoot the Temple there was not a cloud in the sky, they were all behind me. I decided to try to run to the north of the Temple and try to get these awesome clouds in the background that were running away from me. I got set up just in time to get the best part of the sunset and what was almost a total bummer turned into a great photo. Normally I like to get at least 4 or 5 great photos when I visit a Temple, but I was very happy to at least get this one.
